L.A. County earthquake early-warning app is now available on iPhone and Android devices through the Apple APP Store and Google Play Store. This phone app alerts Los Angeles County residents to earthquakes, possibly giving critical seconds of warning before shaking starts. You may receive the alert before during or after shaking.

Sidewalk vendors who sell hot dogs and churros around Los Angeles will be able to get permits after the City Council approved the idea Novermber 28, 2018.
