If you live in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County—such as in the Santa Monica or San Gabriel mountains—please call (626) 458-HELP (4357). To report storm drain or sewer line problems in the City of Los Angeles, contact the Bureau of Sanitation at (213) 485-7575 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and midnight. Other problems can be reported by calling the city’s central services number—311. No matter where you live in the region, for life threatening emergencies call 911.
