City Council Approves $5,000 in Additional Neighborhood Council Funding

This week, the City Council approved a motion to increase Neighborhood Council funding by an additional $5,000 each year.

This funding is critical to provide our Neighborhood Councils the support they need to fund programs for the community

In Council District 12, our Neighborhood Councils have provided funding for numerous programs including: the North Valley YMCA Thanksgiving Food Basket, providing meals to nearly 4000 families in need during the holidays; hosting Valley Disaster Preparedness Fair, the largest preparedness fair in the City; hosting hundred of cleanups and community informational fairs; and many, many more.
